Hello, I'm Ashish! I design digital products, but I didn't start there.

Architecture was my first serious encounter with design. It taught me to look beyond the thing being designed:
the people, the place, the constraints and what it needs to achieve.
I didn't know it then, but that way of thinking followed me into Product design.

I've learned design alongside people who weren't designers.

And it meant I had to be curious, experiment often and figure things out as I went. A lot of my learning came from trying things, getting things wrong, asking questions and finding better ways to approach the work.
Working alongside developers, marketing, sales and project teams taught me that design rarely happens in isolation. The work gets better when you understand the people you're working with, not just the people you're designing for.

I REALLY ENJOY TURNING IDEAS INTO SOMETHING YOU CAN INTERACT WITH
I enjoy the part where an idea moves beyond a sketch or a static screen and starts becoming something you can actually experience. I've always liked experimenting with interactions, transitions and little details that make a product or website feel more alive.
A lot of that came from simply trying new things and seeing how far I could push an idea.

Some of my valued experiences have also happened beyond the screen, through the people I've worked with and the experiences I've had along the way.

I am always curious about how things work, even when they have nothing to do with 'design'

This curiosity shows up everywhere. From understanding how a turbocharged car engine works, to getting lost in the experiments of quantum physics or becoming fascinated by the way a space is put together.

I don't necessarily have a reason for every rabbit hole I go down. I just like understanding things a little better than I did before.
